Tuesday 3rd September saw 31 Ladies play in the Tuesday Medal and Annual Medal competition. Sophie Jacobs, nett 72 was first in division 1, Julie Parry second, nett 73 and Ann McDonough third, nett 72. Division 2 was led by Susan Asquith, nett 72, Margaret McNeill in second with nett 74 and Lyn Sheldrake in third, nett 76. 4 Ladies played in the 9 hole competition, Sandra Dewey in first place with 22 points.

Wednesday 4th September, Chris Matthewman was triumphant in the Chadwick Trophy, the culmination of the Captain's Nights, on a damp, blustery Wednesday evening, scoring a magnificent 30 points to beat nearest competitors Sam Scaife Clarke and Stephen Corrie. Well done, Chris, winning a trophy for the second time this year after victory on Captain's Day back in July.
