  • An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Food and Beverage team at this prestigious Private Members Golf Club based in the scenic area of Pannal near Harrogate, North Yorkshire.     Reporting to the Front of House Manager you will need to be an energetic team player / leader with an outgoing personality who is organised, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and on your own initiative.

    Key responsibilities include

    • Supporting the Front of House Manager in implementing and/or following the bar and catering policies and procedures

    • Working alongside the Front of House Manager and Catering team to ensure the bar is working to the maximum potential

    • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays as required

    • Interacting with our members / guests, always professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their visit with us five-star standards

    • To be proactive in maximising sales and generating revenue

    • Involvement in organising and delivering member/guest events

    • To assist in the management of all payment transactions in accordance with the Club financial policies and procedures and to handle all transactions with diligence, honesty and integrity

    • Assist when required in the management / implementation of staff rotas

    • Assist when required with weekly supplier orders

    • Assist in ensuring the beer cellar is kept clean, tidy and all cellar equipment is maintained to the required standard

    Key Skills, Qualities & Experience

    • Hands on approach to work, always being productive and looking to improve

    • Passionate about hospitality

    • Detail orientated and drives standards

    • Possess a positive attitude and a desire to learn

    • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

    • Friendly, courteous and helpful with excellent communication skills

    • Motivated to go the extra mile for members / guests and colleagues

    • Use of own initiative with willingness to go above and beyond in supporting the wider Pannal Golf Club team

    • Previous barista experience would be ideal but not essential

    • Renumeration in the region of £26k - £28k based on experience.
