Are you looking for a new start with new challenges in the new year? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Food and Beverage team at this prestigious Private Members Golf Club based in the scenic area of Pannal near Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Reporting to the Front of House Manager you will need to be an energetic team player / leader with an outgoing personality who is organised, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and on your own initiative.
Key duties include:
To ensure that the clubhouse and facilities are maintained to an acceptable standard and provide a welcoming venue and friendly ambiance to members and visitors.
To support the Front of House Manager in the implementing and/or following of procedures concerning recording of stock movements e g. correct charging of items, billing.
To ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the clubhouse.
To handle cash and keys responsibly and according to policy.
To communicate effectively with and cooperate/ assist the catering operation at all levels when necessary.
To build positive relationships with members and guests to ensure customer satisfaction
To be proactive in maximising sales and generating revenue.
Involvement in organising and delivering member/guest events
To manage all payment transactions in accordance with the Club financial policies and procedures and to handle all transactions with diligence, honesty and integrity.
To support colleagues at peak times and to undertake any operational duty which might be reasonably required, to ensure customer expectations are met.
The hours of work are based on an annualised 40 hours per week to be worked within the current rota systems which will include weekends and evenings.
Renumeration in the region of £26k - £28k based on experience. Other benefits include company pension, 25 days holidays plus statutory bank holidays (Closed Christmas Day & Boxing Day), free staff meals whilst on duty, staff uniform.

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities will include:
Carrying out day to day minor maintenance and repairs, to a high standard, contributing to a presentable and comfortable environment for our members and guests.
Differentiating between minor repairs and when more specialist skills are required.
Ensuring equipment is used safely, with instructions and health and safety procedures being followed at all times.
Carrying out regular Fire Safety and Emergency Lighting checks.
Required knowledge & experience:
Previous gardening, building or maintenance experience is desirable.
Range of practical skills including maintenance and gardening.
Health & safety in the workplace.
Required skills:
Well organised and able to plan workload.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly personality.
Able to work individually and as part of a team.
Ability to undertake a wide range of activities.
Customer focused at all times.
Shift Pattern: Hours of work are flexible based on a minimum of 20 hours per week Monday – Friday (ideally 08.30 am – 12.30 pm).
This is a permanent part time position with an annual salary circa £13k. plus other benefits.
