On Tuesday 10th September, which was another very windy day, 24 Ladies competed in the 18 hole Stableford and Annual Stableford competition. Division 1 was led by Carole Whiles, 39 points, Claire Hutchinson taking second place, 37 points, with Clare Davies in third, 32 points. However, the winner of the Annual Stableford was Sophie Jacob (30 points) as none of the top scoring players had qualified for the annual trophy. Division 2 saw Lydia Scott in first place, and the Annual Stableford winner for that division, 34 points. Katie Burke and Rebecca Booth both had 30 points, Katie taking second place on countback. There were only two 2’s, Claire Hutchinson and Katie Burke, both getting a 2 on the 15th hole. 3 Ladies braved the conditions for the 9 hole Green course Stableford and Annual Stableford, the winner was Lisa O’Reilly with 18 points.

On Friday 13th September, the annual match between the ladies (pictured below) and the seniors was held yesterday. The match was greensomes matchplay (men off yellow, ladies off red). The ladies won 5 1/2 to 1/2. This was the first win for the ladies since 2017!

In the final of the Mixed Summer Foursomes, which was played recently, Amanda Dunn & playing partner Rob Booth were victorious over Vanda & Lindsay McKenzie.
