NOE U16s 2024 - England v Switzerland Match Result

The Under 16’s Girls International between England and Switzerland on Tuesday 20th was the curtain raiser for the North of England Under 16’s Strokeplay Championship.

In the morning there were two foursomes matches where the England girls came out on top. Emily Peaford and Lila Bisset were 5&3 winners with Elizabeth Wilson and Maisie Whittall edging our their Swiss opponents 3&2.

After lunch there were four singles matches which England won three and a half to a half with wins for Elizabeth Wilson, Lila Bisset and Emily Peaford.

Congratulations to all the players for a hard fought match played in a competitive but fair manner. On Wednesday 21st the main event gets underway with all 132 players in action for their first round over Pannal’s challenging 18 holes.
