An Open Stableford was held on Sunday 6th April. Reuben Bhogal (pictured below) won by 2 points, helped by his first ever hole in one on the 10th:

Tuesday 8th April was a Foursomes and Cooper Brown Trophy competition, this is also the club qualifier for the Ladies County Foursomes Area Final. 30 ladies played, top scorers were Lydia Scott and Zoe Laver, 40 points. Julie Parry and Carol Wakelin came second, 37 points, Amanda Allen and Lisa O’Reilly third with 35 points. The Cooper Brown trophy, which has some specific terms of competition, was won by Julie Parry and Carol Wakelin.

Eight ladies played in the 9-hole Stableford competition, new players from the 2024 coaching programme taking first and second places, Bernie Ruffell 23 points, Sally Honeysett, 20 points.

A Junior medal was held on Thursday 10th April and played in sunny conditions. William Roeloffs won going out in 41 coming back in 44 with 9 pars beating Zach Marsh by 1 shot:

3. Cameron Gallagher 75-0 = 75

Saturday 12th April saw the much-awaited 2025 Season Opener, with 148 players competing for a Masters Green jacket and two Sunday tickets for The Masters in 2026, kindly provided by Impulse Decisions of Harrogate. There were two shotgun starts, with the weather favouring the morning players. The competition was a Stableford with both scores to count on the par 3’s. The winners were James Matthews & Harry Armstrong, who are pictured below with Captain Andrew Asquith.
